AULD, Colin W. December 7, 1924 - March 11, 2014 Colin passed away after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by Eleanor, his wife of 65 years; sons Gregg (Chely) of Mexico and Ken (Cathi) of Thunder Bay; granddaughters Lisa and Tracy. Thank you to the staff at Oak Bay Lodge for their care and to Dr. Robinson of Duncan for his services over the years. There will be an internment in Thunder Bay at a later date. AULD, COLIN WILLIAM
December 7, 1924 - March 11, 2014
Colin passed away in Victoria, after a year long battle with cancer. He was a resident of Cowichan Bay since 1980, following his retirement from Dow's Auto Electric in Thunder Bay. Colin was a navy veteran, a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, the Masons and the Shrine. He married Eleanor Miller and raised two sons in Vickers Heights. They left behind many friends in Ontario and headed west to enjoy their view of the ocean for many happy years. He became a member of the Eastern Star in Duncan, BC. After Eleanor's stroke, he took over all household duties including cooking and even baking. Left to remember Colin is his wife of 65 years, Eleanor, two sons, Gregg (Chely) of Acapulco, Ken (Cathi) of Thunder Bay; granddaughters Lisa Auld of Thunder Bay, Tracy Auld of Wolfville, NS; sister-in-law, Pat Chadwhick (Ted) Victoria, BC; brother-in-law, Norman Miller (Mildred) Mission, BC. He was predeceased by three sisters; Eileen, Jessie, and Helen. Interment of ashes in Thunder Bay at a later date.
